Seeing Triple

Lately, I've noticed a serious trend with some of my favorite fashion blogs. I spotted this Mulberry bag on the arms of three different women, all incorporating it in different ways.

While this bag is gorgeous, the price tag is way to much to even consider making a purchase which is why I'm satisfied with my current favorite: River Island Canvas Bag from Asos.com. Do any of you have a bag you're just obsessed with?

Parisian in New York City

I know I said I wasn't going to post for a few weeks but I fell in love with Erin Fetherston's apartment where she incorporated some amazing elements from her Parisian roots into the New York setting.
(I found these pictures on an adorable blog, Late Afternoon.)

Bye, Bye for Now

For the past two weeks, I've been quite sporadic with my posting and I'm so sorry for that. School ends in only a few weeks and the teachers have decided that this will be the perfect time to pile on more and more assignments to be completed. In addition, finals begin soon and so that prompts my decision to stop posting for a few weeks, at least until school has finally finished. I can't wait to return but I leave you with some adorable pictures until I do!

White Hot

I've loved Rachel McAdams ever since The Notebook and Mean Girls, some of my favorite movies of all times. Her acting is continuously wonderful however her style has always lacked something for me but this look on her is one of the most beautiful looks I've ever seen. Not only do I love her outfit but her bright pink lipstick and perfectly smooth hair keep with the look's springtime feel; not to mention adding to the overall adorableness.

Sara Jackson-Holman - Into The Blue (with Lyrics)

Stevie Wonder-Isn't She Lovely Lyrics

For this weeks music selections I actually have two songs that I am in love with. They're incredibly different but both of them are so rich and soft that I can't help but love them.
(Into the Blue is actually from an episode of Castle which I am addicted to. Any other obsessed fans?

Rain Man

There's so amazing about rain. I've mentioned my love for it before but I'm not sure what it is; maybe the smell, or the sounds, or the way it forces you to stay inside all day (one of my favorite things to do). When spring comes I always welcome rain along with it because spring simply isn't spring without fresh flowers, bright colors, and of course, April showers. Though April showers have lasted a little longer than anticipated I'm soaking up every minute I can.

Lighthouse in the Bay

It's funny how the smallest things can spark inspiration inside you. This past weekend, for mother's day, we went down to the horse races-if you've never been I completely recommend it-and had a nice relaxing day. Since I can't bet legally I always pay my bets to my dad and play through him. However, I've always had the worse luck therefore not a single one of my horses won except one, Lighthouseinthebay. The name is definitely what drew me to him and now all I can think about are precious weathered down lighthouses.

Glee Cast - Marry You (Glee Cast Version)

With summer's arrival-only 3 more weeks of school!- I'm slowly drifting away from the confines of the classroom and letting my mind wander, imagining what to do with the long days ahead of me. All the daydreaming going on in my head makes it physically impossible for anything less then bright and cheery songs to penetrate my mind. This is one of my favorites at the moment; I'm pretty sure I broke the replay button.

Drama in Design

I've always been inspired by a truly amazing room, whether bathroom, bedroom, closet, etc. because we live our lives inside of them. While I enjoying admiring them, I prefer designing them and nothing is more satisfying than when the room is finished. With summer's arrival comes a whole new slew of designing opportunities. Here are some of the places inspiring me now:

Reduce, Reuse, Recyle

Today, I underwent a revelation. After opening my closet and having several pieces fall out (all with price tags on them), I released how much stuff I accumulate without even releasing it. How much easier, and less expensive, it would be if we simply utilized the pieces we had without going shopping every time we felt stumped. While I probably won't be able to resist shopping for long, I'm hoping this new revelation will make me think twice before begging my mom to go to the store.

The Met Ball. I'm not exactly sure what it's for (I truly need to find out) however, the sensational dresses showcased cannot be denied their place in true glamour. All the stops seem to be pulled out for this night and I'm certainly glad they are because the time between spring and fall fashion weeks are too long for me to bear. (My favorites would have to be Blake Lively and Diane Kruger.)

I'm strange in many aspects, including, but not limited to: enjoying rainy days, singing under my breath during classes, and watching movies again directly after they've played if they're good enough. Included in my weird traits is the fact that I actually enjoy packing for trips(only if traveling by airplane though). I love picking out what I'm going to wear for each day and making detailed lists I can check off as I go along. However, no matter how much I enjoy it, trips to the airport can be stressful at best and whenever I find something that makes the journey easier I make sure to snatch it up. Whether that includes beyond comfortable shoes for the quick dash to catch a plane, or adorable headphones for passing time, any of these items would be sure to make me excited for the long day ahead.
